Timeline
We will set the project up for success from the start with robust planning for up-to-date research and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Learning will ensure that Roadmap 2033 is informed by robust and up to date evidence. The Roadmap 2033 research will gather trends that have the potential to impact the Sector positively or negatively over the next decade.
Throughout January and February, a number of one on one interviews and focus groups will be conducted to discover future directions for the sector. We will interview participants virtually ensuring a fair sectoral and geographic representation of stations and stakeholders.
Collaboration will focus on a Leadership Forum composed of sector organisations and sector leaders. The Leadership Forum will hold two meetings: one in February and one in March.
Our best practice process will identify sector values through a Values Survey and a values workshop conducted as part of the second Leadership Forum.
This stage includes a Sector Congress, with a large-scale deliberative forum, including equal numbers of sector leaders and station representatives. Station participants will be accurately reflect the diverse nature of the sector.
The Sector Congress will produce the first prototype of Roadmap 2033. The prototype will be socialised and refined through nine virtual community consultation sessions. Further iterations of the Roadmap will be produced in response to feedback.
Once the Sector has had its say, we will consult with our partners in government to ensure the Roadmap can feed into future policy development.
Finally, the combined boards of the CBF and the CBAA will be asked for their approval and support.
